Spring 2011 Study Abroad in Eastern Europe! – Krakow, Poland

Hello! I am Rocio Rodriguez and I am a Microbiology major from Brownsville, TX. I am involved with Biomedical research, the Honors College, SACNAS, and Golden Key International Honors Society. After I graduate in May 2014, I plan to attend Graduate school to receive my Masters degree in global public health.

Texas Tech was my school of choice because¬† it was big enough to provide me with a variety of opportunities, yet, small enough to give me a chance at those opportunities. I have matured and have ended up in places I would never have imagined as an intimidated and insecure freshman, and it’s all because of Texas Tech and its great faculty, staff, and student system!

I hope I can become a part of that great Texas Tech Tradition for YOU, our future Red Raider. See you soon!

Michael’s Study Abroad in Seville, Spain Summer 2012!

Michael is a Political Science major and aspiring Law School student from Peoria, Arizona. He decided to attend Texas Tech after several visits and was attracted by Tech’s academics, school loyalty, scholarships, post-graduate opportunities and the people! He is currently involved in the Honors College, Men of God Christian Fraternity and works as a lifeguard at the Leisure Pool. Tech gave him the opportunity to do the 3+3 Law Program which gives him the chance to graduate early and attend Law School. He excited to be a Red Raider and to show you all how great it is too!

The Admissions Office and the University Advising Center are resources available to students to help you! Take advantage of the great opportunities they offer such as advising, assessments, and scheduling help! Go by West Hall or Holden Hall 79 for more information.
